    California Portuguese Professional Networking Mixers
In order to connect with the many Portuguese-American professionals in California, PALCUS started holding “Professional Networking Mixers”. Our first event was held in April at Stanford University – 45 people attended and many more said they wanted to attend but were unable to. Our second mixer was held in San Francisco in September, and nearly 60 people attended that event and we were able to raise more than $500 for the PALCUS Internship Program. Our goal is to hold these mixers on a quarterly basis, and if there is a demand to hold them more frequently, we will increase the number of events. We also plan to hold mixers in other parts of California such as Sacramento, San Diego, LA, Central Valley, etc. The response to these mixers has been overwhelmingly positive.
